Purpose:  Maintenance Supervisor

This position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team including training and coaching. Ensuring safety compliance and implementing strategies for maintaining and improving overall maintenance of equipment and property.

• Must possess time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  

• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. 

• Reports directly to the Director of Maintenance for overall project planning and management at the respective plant.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings. 
• Maintain equipment, practice preventative maintenance, coordinate and prioritize work orders.
• Prioritize, work with, and help guide maintenance technicians on internal construction or maintenance projects for production equipment or facility improvements.
• Diagnose equipment issues and coordinate with production teams on maintenance repairs to minimize downtime.
• Ensure safety guidelines and regulatory requirements are met in all maintenance work.
• Understanding of basic electrical systems; including single phase, 3 phase and low voltage.
• Follow and enforce GMP’s and safety protocols.
• Work with Parts and Inventory Specialist to source components and maintain proper inventory control.

• High School diploma required, additional schooling preferred. 
• Boiler license and Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain
• Electrical Knowledge
• Must have a strong mechanical aptitude.
• 2-3 years supervisor experience required. 
• Prior experience in a manufacturing facility preferred, specifically in food manufacturing
• Welding experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to work with various computer programs including work order system and Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook and Teams. 
• Strong and effective communication skills a must
