Purpose: Dryer Operator

The purpose of the position is to operate the Dryers used to bake the kibble and conduct testing and apply troubleshooting to ensure the product meets specifications.

Responsibilities:

  •  Day-to-day operation of the Dryer
  •  Blowing down the dryer
  • Change the screener on the dryer
  • Testing product during production to ensure it meets specifications
  • Able to use computer and software programs used to troubleshoot, control settings on equipment, and for documentation
  • Clean under and around conveyors, dryer, and other plant machinery and workspaces
  • Cean, set up, and calibrate equipment

Job Requirements:

  • Follow GMP’s and safety protocols
  • Great trouble-shooting skills
  • Computer literate
  • Team effort and communication
  • Willing and able to stand for long periods of time
  • Attention to detail
  • Desire to clean is a must
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Must be reliable

Hours:

Monday - Friday

 2pm - 10:30pm

Must be able to train on Weekdays on 1st shift for a couple of weeks and on 2nd shift for a couple of weeks

Salary: $20.50 per hour
